I have been involved with the IBTA as a parent of two twirlers for 8 years, during 2 of which I have been a Corps Director from Matrix Baton Twirlers. I was elected to the IBTA committee at the 2008 AGM.

I have been a treasurer for the IBTA for over 10 years.

As well as a treasurer, I am also a corps director for the Spencerettes (one of the IBTA’s original member corps).

I am also a qualified Inspection and Penalties judge.

I have been involved with Baton Twirling and the IBTA for a long time, in December 2005 I became Irish Co-ordinator, but have only recently taken on the role of IBTA Secretary.

I am busy with my new role, but I am enjoying helping others.

I am also a qualified teacher and judge with the IBTA and I'm always available to answer any questions / queries. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need any information.

I was nominated as the IBTA Teachers Representative over 5 years ago and still enjoy the challenges that come with this post. I am responsible for co-ordinating teachers seminars & exams and updating teachers manuals. I also help develop teachers and place teachers into IBTA teams.

I have been the IBTA Judge's Rep for over 7 years now and have completed all IBTA Judge's Exams.

It is a challenging role which I have always enjoyed from the start.
The role involves organising Judge's Seminars, Exams and ensuring the IBTA Judge's Manual is up to date. The main focus of my role is to guide and support all Judges through their exams.

Joyce Loveys
Contest Director

I have been involved with the IBTA for over 23 years, and have attended many competitions to support my two daughters.

I was also a corps director for several years, and together with the corps, I supported the IBTA fully.

Since taking over the role of Contest Director, I have thoroughly enjoyed organising the contests and working with my fellow officers.

As Contest Director, I will endeavour to do my best to support the IBTA and its athletes.

Contest Secretary

I have been twirling now for over 23 years and thoroughly enjoy training and competitions. I am also a teacher, Penalties & Inspection Judge and now, Contest Secretary.

I enjoy my role as Contest Secretary as you’re never quite sure what questions or challenges each day will bring.

As an IBTA Officer, I will endeavour to support the IBTA and its athletes, and always do my best.
