Membership Transfer
For your information, any member of your group who wishes
to move to another IBTA group at any time during the year
will be subject (on agreement by a release letter) to an IBTA
€36.25 transfer fee plus a further £20.00 / €29.80
registration. If the previous Corps does not agree to the
transfer, a six-month competition ban will be placed on the
athlete as well as the transfer fee and registration fee.
Membership applications accompanied
with a remittance for the total amount - made payable to ‘IBTA’
- should be submitted on the official Membership registration
form, clearly showing the date of birth of each member and forwarded
to the IBTA General Secretary. Please number your members, beginning
with your corps abbreviation, (three characters), followed by
001, 002 etc. Please keep a copy for your records.
On receipt of your membership
payment and the relevant membership forms, you will be invoiced
by the IBTA for affiliation to our current Insurance policy.
This is currently €4.50 per registered member.
As a commitment to Child Protection, all IBTA registered Teachers,
Judges And Corps Directors must
be police checked, and maintain checks every 3 years.
Every member corps is required
to support the Association by participating adequately in our
activities. Any corps who
fails to achieve an acceptable level of technical progress due
to non-participation, whose attitudes or behaviour become inconsistent
with the Association standards and constitution, will not be
invited to renew their membership.
All members must agree to abide
by the code of ethics.
